The DFAT Crisis Portal is accepting registrations from Australian citizens or permanent residents in Iran, Israel and Palestine. If you are not an Australian citizen or permanent resident, you must:

  1. already hold a valid visa to enter Australia; and
  2. be an immediate family member of an Australian citizen or permanent resident.

DFAT defines immediate family members as an Australian citizen or permanent resident's:

  • partner
  • child under 18 years old
  • dependent up to 23 years old
  • parent

There are currently no special visa options for Iranian, Israeli or Palestinian nationals wanting to come to Australia. Currently, the quickest way for people who are not Australian citizens or permanent residents to leave and come to Australia is to apply for a 600 visitor visa in the tourist stream. More information can be found here.
