Who We Are

Founded in 2001, the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC) is Australia’s largest human rights organisation providing support to people seeking asylum.

We are an independent not-for-profit organisation (we don’t take Federal government funding) whose programs support and empower people seeking asylum to maximise their own physical, mental and social wellbeing.

Become a Regular Donor ➜

Choosing to give monthly allows you to select an amount that works for you, in a way that also delivers maximum impact, ensuring that when a person seeking asylum walks through our doors they are not left hungry or homeless.

The ASRC would like to acknowledge the Wurundjeri and Bunurong people of the Kulin Nation as traditional owners and custodians of the land on which the ASRC stands. We acknowledge that the land was never ceded and we pay our respect to them, their customs, their culture, to elders past and present and to their emerging leaders.
