Lunch

All people seeking asylum are welcome to come in for a hot meal at lunchtime on days we are open.

All food is halal and prepared by our volunteers.

Lunch is served from 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

Foodbank

Some people may be able to access food and essential items every week or fortnight if they meet the assessment criteria.

If you would like to access the Foodbank in Dandenong, Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 10.30am to 12.30pm and 1pm to 3pm. Please visit the Refugee resource Hub.

If you need Lunch and Foodbank assistance:

Note:To access the foodbank for the first time, walk in between 10am to 12:45PM and 1:30 PM 3:30pm for an assessment.

If you already have access to our foodbank, the foodbank is open from 11.00 AM – 3.30 PM (closed during lunch) on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

AS MANY OF THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS AS POSSIBLE:

  • Visa documents
  • Bank statements → for food, housing, financial assistance and pharmacy support
  • Identity documents
  • Medical documents → for housing, food, and health support
