The ASRC Telethon on World Refugee Day (Sunday, 20 June) is a chance to celebrate the strength and resilience of refugees and people seeking asylum while raising vital funds to power the work of the ASRC.
Last year our community of compassion raised $1.3 million in one day to support and empower people as they rebuild their lives in Australia and help create lasting social and policy change.
This year’s Telethon is set to be an extra special one as we also recognise 20 years of being a “Home of Hope” for people seeking asylum this June and share stories of courage, contribution and calls for change.
Join us again at the ASRC Telethon on World Refugee Day 2021 to stand in solidarity with refugees and people seeking asylum and help champion a kinder, more welcoming and inclusive Australia.
Together on World Refugee day we raised $1,312,338 to support people seeking asylum
To all our 11,152 supporters:
When you donate to the ASRC Telethon on World Refugee Day, you’re helping to support and empower people as they rebuild their lives in safety.
All funds raised go to the ASRC to assist people seeking asylum with the basics like food, housing and healthcare as well as providing legal support, education and pathways to employment.
As an organisation that accepts no funding from the Federal Government, the funds raised also enable the ASRC to maintain fearless independence and continue advocating for the rights of refugees and people seeking asylum and create lasting social change.
