ASRC Services

An overview of the services we offer, including support for people seeking asylum in Australia, legal assistance, and other community services and resources.

Who are we?

  1. NON-GOVERNMENT: We do not take any Federal Government funding
  2. NOT-FOR-PROFIT: We rely on donations from the community
  3. HUMAN RIGHTS ORGANISATION: We are Australia’s largest human rights organisation providing support to people seeking asylum

Who do we support?

Our services support people who are in the process of seeking asylum in the Australian community (not international), including those who have applied for protection and those currently on protection visas. We also provide a support service to people who sought safety here and were sent by the Australian Government to offshore detention.

While we aim to support as many people as possible, the level of need we see always exceeds the resources we have available as a charity organisation.

Our services therefore prioritise those who face the biggest barriers to accessing their human rights.
